Your artificial intelligent chef and nutrient advisor.

Olive is an artificial intelligence application that acts as the user’s nutrition guide. The app interacts with the user in a responsive, dialogue format to ask and gather from the user their daily food intake and provide recommendations for healthy food that can be ordered via its partner UberEats.

UIUX &  PROTOTYPING 

Healthy eating is not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, improving your health, and stabilizing your mood. Currently, there are too many platforms and rules out there and many may feel overwhelmed by all the conflicting nutrition and diet advices. Olive aims to provide a simple, seamless experience for its users. It allows the user to find healthy meals / hunt down restaurants that serve food caters to any intolerances, allergies, and nutrition demands, as well as give you an alternative recipe for a home cooked meal created by a nutrition expert. It can teach you to cook simple, healthy food yourself, or help you narrow down the abundance of options out there to fit your tastes.

The app asks for the user's basic information when logging in, and allows the use to duplicate records when needed to transfer phone / to a different account.

A.I. CONVERSATION

The app works in a dialogue format. Once the user logs in, they are directed to chat-box format screen. The AI chef will automatically initiate conversation, and pop out the user's daily nutrition summary based on what the user have already consumed that day in context with the user's common pattern. The default proposal is two suggestions, one order-able via UberEats and another can be cooked at home.

INTAKE TRACKER

To add a meal to your record, the user simply uses the camera function on the screen. Once the food is captured, the A.I. will automatically try to identify the type of food input via photo recognition. The user then has the ability to select / type and choose the number of servings intake. Once that is complete, the meal is automatically backed up into the user's data file.

Once the user order / update their dinner, it is automatically added to the data collection. The user is then transferred back to the last page, or redirected to UberEats for ordering the recommended meal.
